Diabetes Friendly Chana Dal Kachori Recipe

Ingredients:  2 cups Split Chickpeas/Chana Dal (Soaked for 3-4 hours) 1 medium Onion (Finely chopped) 1 inch Ginger (Finely chopped) 7 cloves Garlic (Finely chopped) 3-4 Green Chillies (Finely chopped) 1 bunch Coriander Leaves/Dhania Leaves (Finely chopped) Spices: 1 tsp each of Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Seed Powder, Cumin Powder, Turmeric Oil Salt

Dal Paste:  Grind soaked dal into a coarse paste with little water.

Mixing:  Combine dal paste with all ingredients (excluding oil).

Shaping:  Form small, unevenly round spheres from the dal paste.

Cooking:  Cook spheres in appe patra with minimal oil.

Serving Suggestions:  Serve with tamarind chutney, brown rice dal, or in a gravy.

Note:  Grinding the dal into a coarse paste is crucial for texture.
