Besan Chilla Recipe for Diabetes

This is a popular pancake from North India that is prepared and made from Bengal gram flour.

We all know the amazing benefits of Bengal gram.But oour besan chilla has the addition of dudhi to it which makes it better.

Ingredients:  Besan - 1 cup Grated dudhi - 1/2 cup Green chili paste - 1 tsp Red chili paste - 1 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Ingredients:  Ajwain powder - 1/4 tsp Jeera powder - 1/4 tsp Crushed whole dhania - 2 tsp Chopped Coriander – ¼ cup

Method Mix all ingredients. Add enough water to make the consistency of the batter like dhokla. Heat the tawa on medium flame. Brush oil.

Add batter (one ladle full) to the center of the tawa and spread it to form a big circle.  Cover and let it cook. Once it turns brown from below, turn it over and cook the other side.
