We are sure you have heard that carbs are bad for your body. You probably heard it today. But, why are considered bad? Because, carbs in general have high content of sugar, which when consumed consistently, results in weight gain and obesity. But, we’re here to tell you not all carbs are bad. Unprocessed carbs that are high in starch can give your long-lasting supply of energy in moderate quantity, which your body can use for several hours.

Nuts like Peanuts, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts are great sources of good carbs and also have essential oils for the good of the body. Pumpkin seeds, chia seeds are two seeds that are widely available at your closest grocer, and with good reason, they too come under the good carb category.

The humble fruit doesn’t seem to appeal anyone, but fruits not only are a good carbs but also a good source of vitamins and minerals.
Besides being a high source of proteins in one’s diet, it is also a good carb to consume. Try kidney beans, lentils, peas and the like.
Eating vegetables is one of the best things we would suggest doing. They offer fibers in plenty and are one of the best in the carb category to consume.

Many eat Oats every morning for their breakfast, and rightly so, we suggest you should too, as it is a good carb. Much like Quinoa, which we now find in restaurant dishes too. Quinoa is one of the central ingredients in the ever so famous Keto Diet.
Having said that, we must say it gain — not all carbs are good for us. The ones to avoid are chocolates, candies, white bread, sugary drinks, cakes, etc. We would strongly suggest you stay away from these as much as possible and treat yourself to the carbs we’ve mentioned above.
